Description
Pycnanthemum muticum, commonly known as Clustered Mountain Mint, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its pink and white flowers during summer. It typically matures 3–4 feet tall and 2–3 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained garden soil. Its native range or documented parentage is North America. It supports Wavy-lined Emerald (Synchlora aerata) larvae. In the landscape, it works well in butterfly garden, edible garden, and native garden. Good siting and appropriate moisture help maintain its best form through the season.
