Description
Cephalotaxus 'Prostrata', commonly known as Plum Yew, is a woody evergreen conifer valued for its foliage, form, and structural presence. It typically matures 3–8 feet tall and 4–8 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in average, well-drained garden soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Eastern Asia, especially China, Korea, and Japan. Its dense branching can provide shelter and nesting cover for birds. In the landscape, it works well in foundation plantings, screens, and year-round structure. Good siting and appropriate moisture help maintain its best form through the season.
