Description
Aster divaricatus, commonly known as White Wood Aster, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its white flowers during fall and summer. It typically matures 1–3 feet tall and 1.5–2.5 feet wide. Grow it in partial to deep shade in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is North America. Notable for attracting wildlife. In the landscape, it works well in border, small groups, and naturalized area. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to drought, dry soil, and heavy shade.
