Picea abies 'Motala'

Picea abies 'Motala', commonly known as Spruce, is a woody evergreen conifer valued for its brown or copper, gold or yellow, green, and purple or lavender flowers during spring. It typically matures 40–60 feet tall and 25–30 feet wide. Grow it in full sun in moist, well-drained sandy or loamy soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Europe. Birds, moths, and small mammals are attracted to this tree. In the landscape, it works well in accent, specimen, and meadow. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer and pollution.
