Description
Thuja plicata 'Forever Goldy', commonly known as Giant Arborvitae, is a woody evergreen conifer valued for its foliage, form, and structural presence. It typically matures 50–70 feet tall and 15–25 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained garden soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Native to Alaska and the Pacific Northwest (northwest United Sta. This tree provides habitat for various birds (woodpeckers, swallows, chickadees, and swifts). In the landscape, it works well in hedge, screen/privacy, and specimen. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to black walnut and wet soil.
