Solidago rugosa 'Fireworks'

Solidago rugosa 'Fireworks', commonly known as Rough Goldenrod, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its yellow flowers during fall and summer. It typically matures 2.5–3.5 feet tall and 2.5–3 feet wide. Grow it in full sun in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Eastern Canada to U.S.A. It attracts butterflies, bees, pollinators, and beneficial insects. In the landscape, it works well in border, meadow, and naturalized area. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer, heat, and humidity.
