Wisteria frutescens 'Amethyst Falls'

Wisteria frutescens 'Amethyst Falls', commonly known as Wisteria ornamental, is a climbing or trailing perennial valued for its deep purple flowers during spring. It typically matures 8–25 feet tall and 10–15 feet wide. Grow it in full sun in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Eastern United States. It attracts birds, butterflies, and hummingbirds. In the landscape, it works well in accent, screen/privacy, and specimen. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer.
