Vitex agnus-castus 'Shoal Creek'

Vitex agnus-castus 'Shoal Creek', commonly known as Vitex ornamental, is a woody landscape shrub valued for its purple flowers during fall, spring, and summer. It typically matures 4–15 feet tall and 4–12 feet wide. Grow it in full sun in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Mediterranean to Pakistan. It attracts butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. In the landscape, it works well in accent, barrier, and border. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer, diseases, and drought.
