Description
Thuja x 'Green Giant', commonly known as Giant Arborvitae, is a woody evergreen conifer valued for its brown or copper flowers. It typically matures 40–60 feet tall and 12–18 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is North America, parts of East Asia. Its flowers or fruit attract songbirds. In the landscape, it works well in hedge, screen/privacy, and security. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer, drought, and insect pests.
