Description
Osmanthus 'Goshiki', commonly known as Strong Olive, Variegated False Holly, is a woody landscape shrub valued for its white flowers. It typically matures 3–6 feet tall and 3–6 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in average, well-drained garden soil. Its native range or documented parentage is cultivated selection of Osmanthus heterophyllus, native to Japan and Taiwan. Its flowers can provide seasonal forage for bees and other beneficial insects. In the landscape, it works well in specimen plantings, mixed borders, and foundation plantings.
