Lagerstroemia 'Tuscarora'

Lagerstroemia 'Tuscarora', commonly known as Lagerstroemia ornamental, is a woody landscape shrub valued for its coral pink flowers during spring and summer. It typically matures 3–20 feet tall and 3–20 feet wide. Grow it in full sun in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Tropical and subtropical Asia, India, Northern Australia. Food plant of some moth and butterfly larvae. In the landscape, it works well in accent, flowering tree, and small tree. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to drought and pollution.

Provides seasonal color and texture and may support pollinators or other garden wildlife.
