Cedrus deodara 'Gold Cascade', commonly known as Cedrus ornamental, is a woody evergreen conifer valued for its foliage, form, and structural presence. It typically matures 30–50 feet tall and 30–40 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is North Eastern Afghanistan to Western Nepal and NW. India. Squirrels frequent this tree's cones. In the landscape, it works well in accent, hedge, and screen/privacy. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer, drought, and heat.
