Hypericum kalmianum 'Gemo'

Hypericum kalmianum 'Gemo', commonly known as Hypericum ornamental, is a woody landscape shrub valued for its gold or yellow flowers during summer. It typically matures 2–4 feet tall and 2–3 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Eastern Canada and North Central to Northeastern United States. Attracted by pollinators including bees and butterflies. In the landscape, it works well in barrier, border, and foundation planting. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer, drought, and salt.

Provides seasonal color and texture and may support pollinators or other garden wildlife.
