Description
Stachys byzantina 'Helene Von Stein', commonly known as Lamb's Ears, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its pink and purple or lavender flowers during summer. It typically matures 1–1.5 feet tall and 1–1.5 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in average to occasionally dry, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Krym, Northern Turkey to Northern Iran. It attracts butterflies In the landscape, it works well in accent, border, and mass planting. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to black walnut, deer, and drought.
