Description
Spigelia marilandica 'Orange Slices', commonly known as Indian Pink, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its orange flowers during summer. It typically matures 1–2 feet tall and 0.5–1.5 feet wide. Grow it in partial to deep shade in moist, well-drained garden soil. Its native range or documented parentage is East central and southeastern United States. Flowers are attractive to hummingbirds. In the landscape, it works well in accent, naturalized area, and woodland. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to drought and fire.
