Description
Hosta 'Rainbow's End', commonly known as Hosta, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its purple or lavender and white flowers during summer. It typically matures 0.33–2.5 feet tall and 0.5–3 feet wide. Grow it in partial to deep shade in average, well-drained garden soil. Its native range or documented parentage is East Asia. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds are attracted to its flowers. In the landscape, it works well in border, mass planting, and small groups. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to heavy shade and salt.
