Description
Stewartia pseudocamellia, commonly known as Japanese Stewartia, is a woody tree or large shrub valued for its white flowers during summer. It typically matures 12–40 feet tall and 8–25 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained loamy soil. Its native range or documented parentage is South Korea and Japan. The flowers attract bees.
