Camellia 'Korean Fire'

Camellia 'Korean Fire', commonly known as Spring blooming Camellia, is a woody landscape shrub valued for its gold or yellow, pink, red or burgundy, and variegated flowers during fall, spring, summer, and winter. It typically matures 2–20 feet tall and 2–10 feet wide. Grow it in partial to deep shade in moist, well-drained loamy soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Tropical and Subtropical Asia. Its flowers or fruit attract pollinators and songbirds. In the landscape, it works well in accent, border, and flowering tree. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer and salt.

Builds the middle layer of the garden, adding structure between perennials and trees. Extends color and interest into the part of the season when many gardens start to fade. Brings more movement to the garden by drawing butterflies and other pollinators.

White, pink or red flowers early fall; matures about 4 - 8 ft tall and 4 - 6 ft wide
