Description
Rudbeckia 'Goldblitz', commonly known as Rudbeckia, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its gold or yellow and orange flowers during summer. It typically matures 2–10 feet tall and 1–3 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is cultivated selection derived from North American Rudbeckia species. Host plants to caterpillars of some Lepidoptera species including cabbage moths and dot moths. In the landscape, it works well in border, small groups, and naturalized area. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer, drought, and poor soil.
