Description
Carex oshimensis 'Moon Falls', commonly known as Sedge, is a clump-forming ornamental grass or sedge valued for its brown or copper flowers during spring and summer. It typically matures 1–1.5 feet tall and 1–1.42 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist to occasionally wet, well-drained garden soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Japan. It supports various Satyr larvae. In the landscape, it works well in accent, border, and mass planting. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer and wet soil.
