Description
Tiarella cordifolia 'Brandywine', commonly known as Foamflower, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its pink and white flowers during spring. It typically matures 5–12 inches tall and 1–1.5 feet wide. Grow it in partial to deep shade in moist, well-drained garden soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Nova Scotia, Appalachian Mountains to Alabama West to Minnesota. Flowers are attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. In the landscape, it works well in naturalized area, woodland, and butterfly garden. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer and heavy shade.
