Astilbe 'Dark Side Of The Moon', commonly known as Dwarf Astilbe, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its rosy purple with dark foliage flowers. It typically matures 2–2.5 feet tall and 2–2.5 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in average, well-drained garden soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Eastern Asia and eastern North America; most garden hybrids derive largely from Asian species.
