Astilbe chinensis 'Vision In Red', commonly known as False Spirea, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its red flowers. It typically matures 1.5–3 feet tall and 1.5–2.5 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in average, well-drained garden soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Eastern Asia and eastern North America; most garden hybrids derive largely from Asian species.
