Description
Geranium sanguineum 'Max Frei', commonly known as Cranesbill Geranium, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its bright fuchsia flowers during spring and summer. It typically matures 0.83–1.67 feet tall and 1–2 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Europe to Caucasus. Nectar from flowers attract butterflies and bees. In the landscape, it works well in border, naturalized area, and pool/hardscape. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer and rabbits.
Benefits
