Gardenia 'Kleim's Hardy'

Gardenia 'Kleim's Hardy', commonly known as Gardenia, is a woody landscape shrub valued for its gold or yellow and white flowers during fall and summer. It typically matures 2–6 feet tall and 2–5 feet wide. Grow it in partial shade in moist, well-drained garden soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Asia, Africa, Pacific islands. Its flowers can provide seasonal forage for bees and other beneficial insects. In the landscape, it works well in accent, flowering tree, and foundation planting. It has a medium growth rate and generally has high maintenance needs.
