Description
Scutellaria incana, commonly known as Downy Skullcap, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its light blue flowers during summer. It typically matures 2–3 feet tall and 1.5–2 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained sandy or loamy soil. Its native range or documented parentage is North America. Larval host to moths. In the landscape, it works well in border, small groups, and meadow. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer, drought, and dry soil.
