Lagerstroemia 'Sioux'

Lagerstroemia 'Sioux', commonly known as Japanese Crapemyrtle, is a woody landscape shrub valued for its pink flowers during summer. It typically matures 15–20 feet tall and 10–15 feet wide. Grow it in full sun in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Tropical and subtropical Asia, India, Northern Australia. Produces a small amount of nectar that attracts bees. In the landscape, it works well in border, hedge, and small tree. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to drought.

Provides seasonal color and texture and may support pollinators or other garden wildlife.
