Physostegia virginiana 'Pink Manners', commonly known as Obedient Plant, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its pale pink flowers during fall and summer. It typically matures 3–4 feet tall and 2–3 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Eastern North America, North Carolina. It attracts bees, butterflies, hummingbirds. In the landscape, it works well in border, mass planting, and small groups. It has a rapid growth rate and generally has medium maintenance needs.
