Description
Monarda didyma 'Jacob Cline', commonly known as Jacob Cline Beebalm, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its deep red flowers during fall and summer. It typically matures 2–4 feet tall and 2–3 feet wide. Grow it in full sun in moist, well-drained garden soil. Its native range or documented parentage is North America. It attracts bumblebees, swallowtail butterflies, and Ruby-throated hummingbirds. In the landscape, it works well in border, specimen, and naturalized area. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to black walnut, deer, and insect pests.
