Description
Hosta 'Frances Williams', commonly known as Hosta, Plantain Lily, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its blue-green w or bright green edges flowers during summer. It typically matures 0.33–2.5 feet tall and 0.5–3 feet wide. Grow it in partial to deep shade in average, well-drained garden soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Northeastern Asia, especially Japan, Korea, China, and the Russian Far East. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds are attracted to its flowers. In the landscape, it works well in border, mass planting, and small groups. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to heavy shade and salt.
