Description
Epimedium x rubrum, commonly known as Red Barrenwort, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its magenta pink flowers during spring. It typically matures 6–12 inches tall and 1–2.5 feet wide. Grow it in partial to deep shade in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Europe. Deer and rabbit resistant In the landscape, it works well in border, mass planting, and naturalized area. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer, drought, and dry soil.
