Description
Lavandula x intermedia 'Provence', commonly known as Provence French Lavender, is a woody landscape shrub valued for its light purple blooms flowers during summer. It typically matures 1–3 feet tall and 1–3 feet wide. Grow it in full sun in average to occasionally dry, well-drained loamy soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Southeastern France, Northeastern Spain. Bees and butterflies nectar at the flowers. In the landscape, it works well in hedge, mass planting, and coastal. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer, drought, and heat.
