Description
Phlox paniculata 'Fashionably Early Flamingo', commonly known as Phlox, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its purple-pink flowers during summer. It typically matures 2–4 feet tall and 2–3 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Eastern United States. It attracts hummingbirds, bees and butterflies. In the landscape, it works well in border, patio, and recreational play area. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to black walnut and fire.
