Cupressus macrocarpa 'Wilma'

Cupressus macrocarpa 'Wilma', commonly known as Cupressus ornamental, is a woody evergreen conifer valued for its insignificant flowers. It typically matures 40–70 feet tall and 20–80 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in average, well-drained sandy or loamy soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Central coast of California. Small mammals and deer enjoy the seeds from cones in the fall, birds nest in the tree. In the landscape, it works well in accent, border, and hedge. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer and salt.

Provides seasonal color and texture and may support pollinators or other garden wildlife.
