Description
Iris cristata 'Tennessee White', commonly known as Dwarf Crested Iris, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its white flowers during spring. It typically matures 6–9 inches tall and 6–12 inches wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained loamy soil. Its native range or documented parentage is N. Central & E. U.S.A. Its flowers are attractive to hummingbirds and bumblebees. In the landscape, it works well in border, naturalized area, and woodland. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer, drought, and dry soil.
Benefits
