Coreopsis palustris 'Summer Sunshine', commonly known as Tickseed, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its yellow w or black eye flowers during fall. It typically matures 2–3 feet tall and 2–3 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is North America, with greatest diversity in the United States. It provides nectar for pollinators in the fall. In the landscape, it works well in border, container, and meadow. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer, rabbits, and salt.
