Spiraea 'Double Play Doozie'

Spiraea 'Double Play Doozie', commonly known as Spirea, is a woody landscape shrub valued for its pink, red or burgundy, and white flowers during spring. It typically matures 3–12 feet tall and 3–10 feet wide. Grow it in full sun in moist, well-drained garden soil. Its native range or documented parentage is cultivated selection primarily derived from Spiraea japonica of Japan, Korea, and China. Many are host plants to several moths. In the landscape, it works well in foundation planting, hedge, and lawn. It has a medium growth rate and generally requires little routine maintenance.
