Description
Heuchera micrantha 'Palace Purple', commonly known as Coral Bells, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its deep purple flowers during spring and summer. It typically matures 8–12 inches tall and 1–1.33 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained loamy soil. Its native range or documented parentage is North America, from Mexico through Canada. Members of the genus Heuchera support the following specialized bee: Colletes aestivalis. In the landscape, it works well in border, mass planting, and small groups. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer, heavy shade, and rabbits.
