Description
Ceratostigma plumbaginoides is a herbaceous perennial valued for its blue flowers during fall and summer. It typically matures 6–8 inches tall and 0.42–1.67 feet wide. Grow it in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained clay or loam soil. Its native range or documented parentage is North-Central and Southeast China. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer, drought, and dry soil.
