Description
Camellia japonica 'Arctic Rose', commonly known as Spring Blooming Camellia, is a woody landscape shrub valued for its rosy red flowers during spring and winter. It typically matures 10–13 feet tall and 5–10 feet wide. Grow it in partial shade in moist, well-drained garden soil. Its native range or documented parentage is China , Korea, Central & Southern Jap. It attracts pollinators and provides cover for wintering birds. In the landscape, it works well in border, flowering tree, and recreational play area. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to deer and salt.
