Description
Galium odoratum, commonly known as Sweet Woodruff, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its white flowers during spring. It typically matures 6–12 inches tall and 1–2 feet wide. Grow it in partial to deep shade in moist, well-drained sandy or loamy soil. Its native range or documented parentage is North Africa, Asia, Europe. Its flowers can provide seasonal forage for bees and other beneficial insects. In the landscape, it works well in mass planting, recreational play area, and children'. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to black walnut, deer, and heavy shade.
Benefits
