Begonia grandis 'Alba'

Begonia grandis 'Alba', commonly known as Hardy Begonia, is a herbaceous perennial valued for its white flowers during fall and summer. It typically matures 1.5–3 feet tall and 1.5–2 feet wide. Grow it in partial to deep shade in moist, well-drained sandy or loamy soil. Its native range or documented parentage is Southern China, Japan. Flowers are visited by pollinators. In the landscape, it works well in border, mass planting, and container. Once established, it shows useful tolerance to black walnut and heavy shade.
